Off The Beaten Path…
Iceland features mountains, glaciers, ice fields, hot springs, geysers, as well as active volcanoes. Truly a land of fire and ice. This quest takes your team or group to the Westfjords, one of the country’s most spectacular, awe-inspiring, and less-travelled regions.
Our Icelandic adventure begins in Reykjavik, the capital and largest city, where we meet before flying north to the rugged Westfjords. Once there, we are faced with towering mountains that race towards the many-fingered inlets that form the fjords. Small towns and scattered farms and churches cling to the flat lands between the mountains and deep waters.
Isafjordur, a picturesque town perched on one of the northernmost fjords, will be our base where we will conduct our executive education and other activities, intermingled with scenic drives into the majestic mountain ranges where we will practice mindfulness against a backdrop of an ancient ice field. Our adventure culminates with an excursion via private boat to an area inaccessible by road so that we can experience true remoteness and reflect on our lessons from the previous days. It promises to be an awe-inspiring bonding experience for all participants.
