The Land of Gross National Happiness
Bhutan is the only country that values Gross National Happiness over Gross Domestic Product. Each year the King and the government contemplate how they can improve the happiness and wellbeing of their people, and how to protect their pristine natural landscapes.
During our first visit to Bhutan, I can remember our group feeling exhilarated as we flew over Mount Everest to land on an airport strip surrounded by lush green forests. The second you walk off the plane and breathe in the fresh mountain air you know you are ready to transform in every area of your life.
What makes Bhutan magical - beyond the natural beauty - is the generosity you see in the eyes of the locals combined with the powerful spiritual energy that is cultivated by the monks and monasteries located throughout this tiny nation.
On your Abroad Quest you will stay in beautiful luxury accommodations and be guided by locals on how to experience the best Bhutan has to offer. This Quest includes mind-blowing cultural immersion including visits to mystical monasteries, rafting through the Himalayas, opportunities to learn from leaders of the Bhutanese government, and so much more. In addition to the cultural immersion, you will also form powerful friendships and professional collaborations with an extraordinary group of executives and changemakers. By the end of our recent Quest, our participants begin referring to each other as family, and our WhatsApp group is on fire daily.
World-Class Executive Education
On your Quest you will receive the finest executive education from top professors and executive coaches. Our lead expert for this Quest is Professor Rob Wolcott, a Clinical Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management, one of the top business schools in the world. Curriculum Highlights & Faculty
Creating the Future: Mission & Foresight
We will begin with Professor Rob Wolcott from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management providing inspiration from a Cambodian HIV/AIDS case on how to envision, define phases, and develop principles for achieving unrealistic impact. Through this exploration you will develop innovation mindsets, refine your professional mission, and prepare it for expanded action.
Rob has been awarded the Kellogg Executive MBA teacher of the year award four times for his work in these areas. He is also a co-founder of one of the world's largest and most impactful innovation networks.
Wisdom: Mindfulness & Contentment
As you crystallize your missions and uncover new inspiration, Dr. Daniel Cordaro - CEO of the Contentment Foundation and former Director of Wellbeing at the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence - will guide you through ancient wisdom practices to understand your true nature and connect to the deeper meaning of life. As your mind and soul experience rejuvenation on the deepest levels, you will cultivate a sense of unconditional self acceptance and mental balance you previously deemed impossible. From this place of expanded awareness, you will develop selfless service mindsets that facilitate the conditions for exponential global impact.
Mindset Development: Executive Coaching
The most successful people in the world are concerned about the notion of mission and purpose. They continually ask questions about where they are going, and where we are going as a species. While you attend Rob and Dan’s sessions, you will have the opportunity to meet 1:1 with Justin to transform any mindsets that are preventing you from leading with greater courage, compassion, and purpose. As a bonus, the work we do in these sessions will also unlock new paths to wellbeing, creativity, and innovation during a time where digital transformation and startup disruption are on the minds of senior executives.

Can I bring my spouse and kids?
Yes, that would be wonderful, We also welcome your spouse to attend the ExecEd sessions, as during our previous Bhutan Quest family members attended all the sessions and derived great value.
What happens after I apply?
