For more than 10 years, Dr. Daniel Cordaro has been studying the human mind and emotions at top academic institutions like Yale and UC Berkeley. He has been mentored by some of the most legendary scientists of our time, including Paul Ekman (Emotions Revealed, Telling Lies), Dacher Keltner (The Compassionate Instinct, The Power Paradox), Marc Brackett (Creating Emotionally Literate Classrooms), and others.
He has coauthored dozens of peer-reviewed scientific publications in top psychological journals, and he has led the two largest cross-cultural studies of human emotion ever published.
Cordaro is also a recognized educator and professor, having written and taught two different courses on human emotion at both UC Berkeley at Yale. Over 1000 students have together given Cordaro a 96% approval rating across his teaching career.

Former Press Secretary to the King of Bhutan. In 1979 the King of Bhutan propounded that for Bhutan it was more important to pursue gross national happiness and not gross national product. During much of his reign, the King guided the nation and its modernisation process within this development philosophy of Gross National Happiness. In this introductory talk, Dorji Wangchuk, who was formerly the royal spokesperson and aide to the King, will elaborate on this unique national development philosophy.
From 2009 to 2013 he served as the Director Communication and Spokesperson for His Majesty the King and the Royal Family of Bhutan. He is a visiting professor with the Royal University of Bhutan and briefly served as dean at the Royal Thimphu College.
He is currently working on establishing the Contentment Foundation in Bhutan with Dan while pursuing a second advanced degree at the University of Macau with research focus on social media, sociolinguistics and Buddhist communication.

Lisa was the original inspiration for Dr. Daniel Cordaro and Justin Milano to visit Bhutan, and she has now been to this extraordinary country five times. Her vast experience and connection to the locals will ensure all your needs are met.
Lisa is also the Chief People Officer at the Contentment Foundation, where she champions an extraordinary employee experience. Lisa has been contributing since the inception of the foundation during the first version of the Four Pillars of Wellbeing Curriculum. She knows that practicing even one pillar is enough to change a life. She has witnessed this happen again and again in herself and in others.
